Efrem DeHughes has over 15 years of experience in a variety of settings and diverse clients including both long term and brief interventions. Efrem is a Psychotherapist-Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the State of Texas. Efrem graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio with both his graduate degree in Social Work and his undergraduate degree in Sociology. Efrem began working in the field of public service at Job Corps of San Diego, California in the early 2000’s as a Residential Dorm Advisor. Efrem has prior service military in the U.S. Army as a combat medic. He has worked in the field of social service: a residential advisor, childcare worker, case manager, CNA-certified nursing assistant, treatment house parent, client coordinator, co-occurring/dual diagnosis group facilitator, and psychotherapist/clinical social worker. Efrem’s years of experience in the public service arena includes working within the fields of children and families, veterans, substance abuse/addictions, homelessness, mental/behavioral health and within the criminal justice system. Efrem has also participated extensively with various volunteer projects within the community.
